From seasoned campers with all the gear, to first timers who wish to rent a tent, Woodfire appeals to everyone.
Dog friendly accommodation
We love dogs here at Westerlands which is why we provide dog bowls in all our holiday homes. Some properties also have private fenced in gardens and even warm water outside showers and dog towels!
We do ask guests to bring their own dog beds.
We support the SDNP Take the lead campaign which means keeping dogs on a lead outside the garden. This is for their own safety around farm machinery as well as the welfare of our animals - our chickens roam free - as well as the abundance of wildlife here on the South Downs.
Bring your horse on holiday
Our stable yard is just a few minutes walk from our properties and this is where you can arrange turnout and stabling for your horse while you are staying with us. If you wish, you can book a cabin or hut in the same grazing field as your horse. Please contact Cheryl for more information and prices.
You can also book additional horses for you and your guests to explore the South Downs. Rides can be booked at our Trekking Centre.
What our visitors say…
Simplicity
Immersed in nature, it isn’t just kids who learn to appreciate the simpler things in life. For all of us, it’s an opportunity to disconnect from material possessions and discover the joy of spending time together.
All our properties have different unique qualities but one thing they all have in common is that they are surrounded by nature. Discover how much better (and simpler) life feels when you spend time outside on your own or with friends and family.
