Dog friendly accommodation
We love dogs here at Westerlands and can provide dog bowls and towels on request. Please note that the wooden stairs at The Hideaway may be a bit steep for elderly dogs to climb.
We do ask guests to bring their own dog beds.
We support the SDNP Take the lead campaign which means keeping dogs on a lead outside the garden. This is for their own safety around farm machinery as well as the welfare of our animals - our chickens roam free - as well as the abundance of wildlife here on the South Downs.
Bring your horse on holiday
You can arrange turnout and stabling for your horse while you are staying with us. Please contact us for more information and prices.
You can also book additional horses for you and your guests to explore the South Downs. Rides can be booked at our Trekking Centre.
“It was a stunning location and so beautifully quiet and peaceful. I sat out early one morning in the sunshine, looking over fields of Buttercups, surrounded by trees and birdsong! We would love to return for longer.”
